Description: For our first event in 2020 SPAR will be kicking off our SciPol Spotlight series! We will be hosting Rutgers alum and current University of California Berkeley grad student Vetri Velan. Vetri is the current President of the Science Policy Group at Cal. He will detail his innovative method fundraising through crowdfunding and his work pushing back on the graduate student tuition tax.
